What Would You Rather Wear?

A 19th-Century puff-sleaved knockoff with a 3 inch curled back bang (fringe) worn by the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints women?

Or a designer couture jilbab and hijab?

lol .. this is funnyy yet the moral is to be able to dress modestly not hideously , so yea its ones own choice , being a muslim i would rather choose the later, but not necessarily in the same way ..
based on your witty comment, I’ll have to add a humor tag. but you said it, not me.
They should use these in adverts for patriarchy recruitment drives. Join for the fashion, stay for the haircuts.
I am one of sources for picks. I love my abaya (for Islamic dress) but underneath of that we Muslim women wear whatever we want, from four thousand year old gown design with real gold embroidery and sewn on jewels to Chloe blouse and seven jeans. No one makes me wear my outfit, and it is certainly not done for men. I do it for me—my husband actually wishes I would dress like I do underneath (Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City—I am crazy eclectic) so no one thinks he forces me (Ha) but he totally respects my right to not want people to think of my financial means and physical beauty when they meet me. Abaya and scarf help me in this. I know, as a white woman, they eliminate my race and nationality, for sure. I want to be judged right away as Muslim, and second, for the content of my character. I have a dream…. LOL. As Salaam alaykom all, (that means, the peace of God be upon you).
