Very cool to watch, but I’m not grasping why it’s an improvement over a simple boatlock – aside from it’s obvious surperiority in terms of grooviness. Is it faster, because you don’t have to displace as much water? Does it take up less space, maybe? And what does it have to do with “Send in the Clowns”?
